myProgress Personalized Processing Times Program Expands

The myProgress program, which provides personalized estimates of wait times for various milestones and actions on immigration cases, is being expanded to include Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. The initial expansion is for Afghan special immigrant I-485 applicants.

The myProgress program helps individuals understand the anticipated timeline for their cases, including an estimated date of final decision. It’s important to note that these estimates are based on case type and historical results and are not guaranteed. The program was introduced to enhance the customer experience for those filing immigration applications, in line with Executive Order 14058 on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government Mandates. It has also reduced the number of inquiries individuals submit to USCIS.

myProgress is available to individuals with an online USCIS account who have filed the following forms:

  • Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization
  • Form I-131, Application for Travel Document
  • Form N-400, Application for Naturalization
  • Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card
  • Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative
