Supreme Court to Hear Select Immigration Cases in Next Term

The Supreme Court agreed to hear two immigration-related cases in the next session. One case considers whether appeals courts have the authority to review BIA outcomes. The second considers sufficient immigration notice.

Canada Introduces Work Permit Program for U.S. H-1B Visa Holders

Canada introduces a streamlined work permit program for U.S.-based H-1B specialty occupation visa holders. Effective July 16th, 2023, individuals holding U.S. H-1B visas and their immediate family members will be eligible to apply for the Canadian Work Permit Program.
